December Reminders For Business Owners

Stay Ahead Of Tax Deadlines 


As the year comes to a close, we want to remind you of some critical tax-related deadlines and important steps to ensure a smooth and timely filing process.


Key Reminders:


1. Payroll Tax Forms & 1099s

Payroll tax forms and 1099s must be filed with taxing authorities and sent to employees and subcontractors by January 31, 2025.  Please ensure we have all necessary information in our office promptly to meet these deadlines.


2. S-Corporation Payroll Adjustments

 If you are an S-Corporation owner with more than 2% ownership, remember to gross up payroll for certain medical premiums on your W-2s before year-end.


3. Accounting Records

Need assistance cleaning up your accounting records before filing?    Please contact us early to avoid delays and meet key deadlines.


4. Document Deadlines for Filing

  • Corporate Returns: Submit all corporate information and documents to our office by February 15, 2025, to meet the March 15, 2025 filing deadline.

  • Individual Returns: Submit all individual information by March 15, 2025, to meet the April 15, 2025 deadline.

  • Submissions after these dates may require filing for an extension.


5. Scheduling Meetings
